EBO - I'D RATHER BE BY MYSELF

David Ebo was the lead singer of Harold Melvin's Blue Notes starting in 1976, having replaced Teddy Pendergrass after Teddy left the group for his succcessful solo career.  In 1985, Ebo came as close as he ever would to having a smash hit when Domino Records released "I'd Rather Be By Myself."  It came out in 7" and 12" editions.  Pictured is the 7" label, but the audio is the full length version, over 8 minutes long.
