TWILIGHTS - SHIPWRECK

Philadelphia producer and songwriter Weldon McDougal (above), who brought Barbara Mason into the studio for her first recording, released a number of now-rare singles on his Harthon label.  (Click here for another Harthon release.)   Weldon produced a total of two singles for the Twilights, a vocal group that included Ellis Hall, who later sang with the Philly Devotions of "Hurt So Bad" fame.  "Shipwreck," from 1966, bears a strong resemblance to the Little Stevie Wonder song "Sunset."       Real Player required.  Download Real Player here.
