OTIS CLAY - THAT'S HOW IT IS

Otis Clay has a huge following overseas (especially Japan).  But for some reason, he was never a major hitmaker at home. (Clay, originally from Mississippi, moved to Chicago as a young man.)  Even though he fills large venues with crowds of enthusiastic fans who don't get enough of that wonderfully gruff voice of his, one of the only hits he ever had in the U.S. was the superb "That's How It Is" on Chicago's One-der-ful label in 1967.  It reached only the bottom third of the Soul Top 40 nationally.       Real Player required.  Download Real Player here.
